In an environment of unprecedented price hikes and ballooning
real-estate prices a practice developed among some consumers
of using the equity in there home as some form of credit card
for the purchase of luxury and often unnecessary goods. While
a boon for mortgage brokers and the like the market has invariably
caught up with them as was inevitable. At this stage the unlimited
refinance option has been dried up and many are left caught short.
